Lloyd is a shearer from Powys, Wales. Shearing runs in his family with his grandad being a wool board instructor and his Dad a contractor.

When he was 16 years old his grandfather brought him his first machine and handpiece. Since then, he has traveled to New Zealand to shear for the past 9 years and now shears between 350-600 a day.

In 2019, Lloyd shore 907 lambs in a 9-hour day. The same year, he was part of a 4-stand team that set the British 9-hour lamb record, shearing an amazing 725 lambs. With this, he also competes in shows and has shorn for Wales in the test series against New Zealand.

“The Lister brand is known across the globe. I prefer to buy and use Lister products as not only am I supporting a British company, stacked with history in the industry, but the after sales support is far better than that of other market competitors.”

Dylan Wyn Jones

Shearing since the age of 16, Dylan has taken his skill around the world to places such as Norway, New Zealand, Australia, and Germany. Working his way up the stages in competitions, Dylan now shears in Open classes, and is wanting to make more Open finals, and hopefully take part in a record attempt in the coming years.

Joanne Devaney

Joanne is a keen sheep shearer from Ireland. She got into shearing through her family’s contract shearing business. In 2017, she spent 8 months shearing in Australia.

Joanne shears during the summer months and in August 2020, she shore 351 uncrutched blackface ewes in 8 hours on her home farm. On a standard day, she shears around 200+ sheep.

“Top quality and hard wearing equipment. Shearing machines are very durable, we’ve had our Nexus machines for years and they have outlived many brands. The Nexus has different speed settings, so it’s suitable for all levels. Lister handpieces are very light and comfortable in small hands.”
