Product Warranty Policy

 

Conditions of the warranty

If the clipper develops a fault within the warranty period we undertake to replace all defective parts free of charge, or at our discretion, replace the clipper free of charge providing that:

  1. The registration form was completed within 30 days of purchasing your clipper/shearing equipment with proof of purchase attached.

  2. The clipper has been purchased by the user and has not been used for hire or reward.

  3. The clipper has not been misused or carelessly handled.

  4. Repairs have not been attempted by an unauthorised person.

  5. The clipper is returned, with carriage paid, to Lister Shearing Equipment Ltd for repair.

  6. The clipper has been used and maintained and oiled in accordance with the instruction book provided.

Exclusions of the Warranty

  1. Parts that are subject to wear and tear such as blade sets, drive components, attachment combs, batteries and battery cells are not included under warranty. The only exception is the Liberty Lithium battery, which comes with a 1-year warranty, valid from date of purchase.

  2. Loss or consequential damage.

  3. Damage caused by incorrect electrical supply, lightning, power surges or similar.

  4. Damage caused by corrosion or incorrect/inadequate lubrication.

  5. Costs incurred where no fault is found.

  6. Routine service of the clipper.

  7. The warranty is not available outside of the UK.

  8. Damaged caused by incorrect tension.

Please note: The warranty is non-transferrable and may be cancelled at any time in writing by Lister Shearing Ltd if deemed necessary.

Please note: The return postage to Lister is not included in the promotion, however, once repaired we will return the clipper to you at our cost. The trimmer is not included in the warranty.
